Day 14 - Kauai - Last Day!

Our Last Day in Hawaii was very full. In the morning we decided to take surf lessons in Hanalei Bay. We both rode the first wave! After surfing we had lunch and then got ready for our beachside massages. The massages we so relaxing..great timing..right before our flight....

Had a great time..wish we didn't have to leave.....

Day 13 - Kauai

Day 3 in Kauai was full with a hike in the Na Pali Coast area on the Kalalau trail. We hiked about 2 1/2 miles up and down cliffs to Hanakapi'ai Beach. It was very beautiful, desolate and full of power. After we spent a little R&R time on the beach we made the same hike back! To end the day we had dinner at Sushi Blues and then watched an awesome sunset...

Day 12 - Kauai- Waimea Canyon

Started early and drove to Waimea Canyon and hiked about 4-5 miles down to a small waterfall. Also stopped at a few beaches and saw a few endangered seals ( there were parts of the beached ropped off just for them - It was a law that you had to stay at least 150' away from the seals).

I have never seen so many roosters before just hanging out..all over the island!

Day 11 - Kauai

We arrived in Kauai and explored the area near the hotel and relaxed at a cafe called Tree's where they had local Hawaiian music. The food there was awesome..some of the freshest fish we've had the entire trip!

Day 10 - Oahu - North Shore

We drove up to the North Shore stopped in Haleiwa for shaved ice, beach hopping and lunch. Also stopped at Laie Point to check out some waves ( it was the low season so the waves weren't as large as they are in the winter months). Took the scenic route to the East back to Honolulu stopping along the way at different beaches to photograph.

Day 9 - Honolulu - North Shore

Sunday was Billy and Emily's last day in Hawaii so we relaxed at the beach in the morning. After lunch the taxi arrived and we said Aloha. Paula and I spent the rest of the day walking around Honolulu and having dinner at Duke's with some crazy locals.
